We're happy that you're coming to visit!

We've tried to answer a handful of questions below that you may have before joining us on Sunday. Let us know how else we can help!

  • Joining us for adult Sunday school classes? Find us at 9:30 a.m. on the top floor, in the classroom at the end of the hall (furthest from the Graham Ave entrance). Our service begins at 11:15 a.m. in the sanctuary.

  • We are located at 31 Graham Ave in Old Ottawa East. Here is a link to the OC Transpo bus travel planner. Confused by how to use it? Let us know and we'll be happy to help.

  • We have a small parking lot on site for seniors and visitors. If that is full, there is a parking lot on the south side of Graham Avenue (St. Nicholas Adult High School) where you can park. Additionally, there is street parking around the church.

  • Our services are somewhat relaxed, and include preaching and teaching from the Bible, responding with praise and worship, prayer, and more. After the sermon, our worship team leads us in a time of response. Please feel free to sit or stand when we sing as you feel comfortable.

On the first Sunday of every month, any believers in Christ who have professed their faith through baptism are invited to receive the items for the Lord's Supper at the greeters' table, and we will partake together at the end of the service. During announcements, the worship leader will go over options by which regular attenders can contribute to the offering. As a visitor, please do not feel obliged to give.

Also, those who would like to pray with the pastor or with other church members can approach the front row during singing, or you can speak with the pastor after the service.

  • Feel free to wear whatever you find comfortable. Many go casual with street clothes, while others dress up a little. In the summer, we are a bit more laidback and people often come in shorts and sandals. Once in a blue moon someone will dust off their suit. It's up to you!

  • Joining us for Sunday school? We start at 9:30 a.m. for both the adult and children's classes. Our service begins at 11:15 a.m. in the sanctuary. A greeter will help you find your way once you arrive. Don't be alarmed if it looks like all sorts of people are leaving when you arrive; the Chinese (Mandarin) service ends before ours starts, and some of them will be making their way out of the building. We apologize in advance that our entrance can be a bit of a bottleneck.

  • Yes! See this page for what we have available for ages 3 to grade 12: Sunday School

  • Little ones are welcome to stay in the service, but if they get fussy we also have a nursery/playroom for you to take them if you wish. The service is streamed through a video system.

  • Children are welcome and encouraged to attend the service alongside their parents. There is optional seating at the back of the sanctuary for young families. We don't mind if your children need to make a little noise. You may also help yourselves to the seats and toys in the Welcome Lounge outside the sanctuary if the kids need a bit more room to stretch. The service is streamed with video and sound to our TV on the Welcome Lounge wall, and you can also hear the audio in the vestibule facing Main Street.

  • Restrooms are located in the basement near the kitchen and off of the welcome lounge on the first floor.

  • The building is fully accessible, with a lift between floors. If you require the lift, please speak to one of our greeters.

  • Please send us an email or speak with a leader after the service if you are interested in knowing more about God, growing in your faith, baptism, becoming a member of the church, or anything else. We would love to chat! Weekly prayer lists, special announcements and our e-bulletin are sent out through our mailing list (sign up with this form).

The e-bulletins, sent at 11 a.m. Sunday, also contain a bunch of news and announcements, information about our ministries, connect groups, and more!
